Postcard Story Project

So here’s the deal for those who are willing to indulge my curiousity.

I would like you to send me a postcard. The postcard can be of anything, anywhere…you know the deal with postcards. On the back, however, I would like one sentence. It doesn’t have to be complicated. It doesn’t have to be from anything. It doesn’t have to be real. I will ask that if you wish to write it in a person type context, that this one sentence is written if first person.

What I plan to do is to get all the postcards that get sent to me and try to make a story out of all the sentences. Obviously, the more I get, the better it will be, and this isn’t the kind of thing I can do on my own. So if you want to take part, email me and I will send you an address to send the postcard to. Also, let people know. Link this page, tell people…anything. Like I said, the bigger it grows the better it will be.

UPDATE

Okay, just some extra ground rules…well, not rules. Just some extra specifications.

It can be any sort of postcard. If you want to promote your business, band, cause… anything… as long as it’s a postcard.

Just one sentence. It can be a long one or a short one. If you want it to involve personable thoughts, please frame it in first person (for example: “I thought it would be great if the pig could fly” rather than “John thought it would be great if the pig could fly”, it just helps with the flow of the whole thing… also it doesn’t have to involve personable thoughts… it could be something like “The sky was so red today.”

Acknowledgements.
Of course, I want to acknowledge every single person who takes part. So please, write your name and where you’re from somewhere on the card as well.

Email me if you want to take part or have any questions.
